Step 0:  Complete Student Questionaire (DUE TUESDAY, 8/23)

goo.gl/forms/fDxsvhVT6a1vWktj1

Step 1:  Create a UT EID

**NOTE:  IF YOU ALREADY HAVE A UT EID, PLEASE SKIP TO STEP 2**
Click on the link below:
idmanager.its.utexas.edu/eid_self_help/
Click "Get a UT EID."
Continue to the first page of questions.  You may answer either YES or NO to the first question, but you must answer NO to the next three questions.  Then, continue to the next page of questions and answer as many questions as possible.  You do not have a UT ID card, so leave that question blank.
Once you have completed all questions, you may be presented with a list of EID's that MAY be yours.  If any have information that matches you EXACTLY, click the checkbox next to it and "Claim."  If none match you, click "I don't see my UT EID."
Once a UT EID is created for you, WRITE IT DOWN!!!  Make sure to create a password that you can remember!  Above all, DO NOT SHARE YOUR EID AND PASSWORD WITH ANYONE.  EVER.

Step 2:  Register for Quest

Click the link below:
quest.cns.utexas.edu/student/courses/enroll_by_link?courseunique=87733
Log in with your UT EID if prompted with the login page.
Follow the instructions (if any) to register for the course "Cardenas OnRamps Precalculus 16-17."  The unique number for the course is 161702.  The instructor of record is Jeremiah Lucas.  Make sure you are registered for the correct course!  Quest is completely free and you will never have to pay for it this year.

Step 3:  Complete assignment "QA 1.0" on Quest by 8 AM

Once you are registered for the course, bookmark this page:
quest.cns.utexas.edu/
You will be visiting it all year.  Log in, click on the course, and complete assignment "QA - Algebra Review" by 8 AM on Friday.  YOU DO NOT HAVE TO DO THE ASSIGNMENT ALL AT ONE TIME.  You may answer questions in any order and log in/out at any time.  Every Friday at 8 AM, the assignment closes, grades are recorded, and the next one is posted at 4 PM.
