However, if you scored BELOW the average, this class is going to be very, VERY tough, and you may need to reconsider your options. If you haven't taken ICAT already, then that may be the best option for you. Over there, you will get more practice on your algebra skills. Don't worry, precal will still be here next year if you want it. In precal, you will be using those algebra skills A LOT, and it's not fun looking for asymptotes in a rational function when you're still having trouble factoring. Those of you who scored lower than a 30, precal is not the best option for you. Remember, you need 4 math credits to graduate, so you absolutely need to pass this class if you haven't already taken ICAT.
